[2025 TPD] Fireside Chat: A Turbulent Global Order and Trilateral Cooperation in Economy, Technology, and Security

At the 2025 Trans-Pacific Dialogue, held this February in Washington, D.C., the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies hosted a special session featuring Kurt Campbell, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State; Park Jin, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea; and Kenichiro Sasae, President of the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA).

This in-depth discussion addressed the anticipated policy direction of a second Trump administration, evolving strategies in the Indo-Pacific, and the trilateral cooperation needed to manage regional risks in the areas of economy, technology, and security.
